SOBs’ Sol Village Showcase was hot, groovy and soulful on Wednesday, April 15,  2015.  J’Maine Jones performed covered songs John Legend’s “All of Me” and Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk” and an original piece “Promise You’ll Stay”.  The  daughter of the legendary funk singer, Chaka Khan, Indira Khan, sang  her new single “Bathe Me” including one of her mother’s famous songs, “Tell Me Something Good”.  Tarralyn Ramsey placed the audience in a trace with her breath-taken voice singing  Whitney Houston songs  “Run to You” and briefly “I Look to You” and “I Will Always Love You”.    Ali Caldwell performed Erykah-Badu’s “Next Lifetime”.
